This is why I always try to make my breaks from training short, because it really can be quite difficult to get back into it if you take a super long break from it. It’s easy to give in to that same “screw it” feeling that you get, because “I haven’t been to the gym in a long time anyway, I’ve probably lost all my progress, it’s gonna be hard to get started again, blah blah blah”. I try to limit my breaks to a week at the most.
