Ok so I’ve been training for about 6 weeks for the marathon.
Here is the percentage of time I have felt the following ways:
Extremely tired: 30%
Pooped: 20%
Superhuman: 10%
Oh-my-God-I’m-injured: 7%
Confident that I’m on track: 25%
Why am I doing this: 3%
Normal: 5%
Which is why I drink 20-32oz of coffee today. I’m sure that’s healthy.
This actually made me laugh a little at work. I get like that sometimes, but within 30 seconds I’ve got 2 little girls and 2 dogs jumping all over me, which makes it quite hard to stay pooped!
Off topic, but how long before the race are you actually coming to NYC?
Pooped is the word du jour around my house – it goes a little something like this, “Man, that was a great workout but boy am I pooped!” I definitely prefer it to extremely tired and oh-my-god-I’m-injured.
I am glad I am not the only one who says “I feel pooped.”
Unfortunately in my house during training I can not use “I feel pooped”. Means a whole other thing to two little kids. 🙂
How the heck are you feeling “Normal” so much! On average, over an hour a day! Wow! 😉
