My sister’s apartment in NY is the tiniest place I’ve ever stayed.  I’ve been in European hostels bigger than this.  But its cute, and its “in a great area.”  At least that’s what everyone tells me.  I haven’t seen much yet, but we are right next to a retail store dedicated to The Big Lebowski, so I’m pumped.

I had saved up a day off of running so that I could better handle the cross country travel and creative sleeping arrangements.  Plus, it was nice not having to make her graduation day all about me getting in a track session.  Everyone wins.  I was so proud watching her get her Bachelors in nursing from NYU, sitting next to my mom, the three of us girls together for the first time in over a year.

But the track session awaits me tomorrow morning.  I really hope Columbia’s track is open to the public, cuz I’m screwed if its not.  Adapting my track workout as a fartlek is the alternative, and I really don’t want to do that.  Time for a bedtime mantra…no stress, it’ll work out…
