RunningI ran today! 13 minutes to the Bend Athletic Club, where I finished off my workout with 45min of spinning. I felt great, which was a total surprise. Its been a goal of mine to be running by January 1st, and my friend Steph reminded me of that last night (it was a goal we set together while cross training two weeks ago). So, despite fear and trepidation, we got out there and did it. I was fully intending to have to walk/jog all the way to the gym due to hip pain. But after 30 seconds, it warmed up nicely and suddenly there I was, running. I wanted to go forever. Unlike after the foot injury, my body felt it sync, smooth, like I hadn’t missed a day. I can’t wait to try again tomorrow.
